As one of the original founders of Scruples in 1985, I started with a vision to create a neighborhood salon that embraced the latest hair trends, products and industry innovations, while maintaining a familiar, welcoming environment. After my first partner retired, Heather joined as a managing partner in 2007, having been a stylist for several years at the salon. 

Together we have upheld the original concept; attracting a loyal, supportive staff and in turn a well-established, referring client base. We encourage a collaborative atmosphere at Scruples, where stylists share their expertise and welcome each other’s opinions. As well, we are committed to investing in ongoing professional development to ensure our entire team of stylists’ remains on top of fashion trends and innovative techniques. Each of our skilled stylists knows the value of conducting an in-depth consultation at the start of every client appointment; we firmly believe this translates into a perfectly suited hairstyle and a delighted, satisfied customer! 

We are so proud to have served thousands of clients over the years and we are grateful to have developed many long term relationships; being a part of the lives of so many families is truly an honour.
